Excellent Stay at a Quiet Retreat
really good staff quiet location secure location
The staff was really good and genuinely interested in helping me. I found the location to be superb, quiet, and secure (a definite plus). The hotel helped me find a table in the Martini bar. I was welcomed back, which reminded me of coming home.
The A/C inexplicably shut off at night, it took some time to get the coffeemaker working.

The hotel is tucked away in Mayfair. StJames Park is close to Piccadilly Street. This spot is very quiet, yet still central and easy to navigate to various destinations by foot, tube, or taxi.

The Beautiful Suite was beautiful and perfectly decorated. Beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was a good size.

Breakfast in the GBR was delicious (especially the tea). I completely recommend the Champagne Afternoon Tea. The restaurant was good, and the service was friendly.

The location was superb.
My room's air conditioning malfunctioned . It proved very hot and resulted in a night of discomfort before my departure for the airport. I consider this unacceptable.

friendly staff great location generous touch old carpet tired room dated tv
the staff was friendly. i also thought the location was good. the hotel gave us complimentary treats in my room, a generous touch.
the hotel generally and rooms especially are tired. the carpets are old and the facility showed the passage of time. tv's seems from the early 1990s.
