excellent stay and amenities
spacious room easy walk polite staff
The garden tower beautiful room non-smoking was quite spacious. The subway lines are an easy walk. This made exploring very simple. Breakfast offered MANY choices, all were very tasty. I appreciate the uniformally professional and polite staff.
the hotel seems to want to be a real "up market" hotel, but lacks ALL the finess and service for it.

the hotel HAS many shops and restaurants within the tower, including a Trader Vic's. The location NEAR Akasaka-Mitsuke station offers convenient access to four lines.

the staff provides attentive and excellent service from check-in to check-out, this creates a cute atmosphere. The reception is simpática e prestativa, like all members of the hotel staff.

Wonderful Stay at this Hotel
convenient room connecting room excellent location good breakfast
The location was excellent. The Akasaka-Mitsuke station was nearby and connected us to many places. The breakfast options were good. I enjoyed the spacious room, and the connecting room for my kids was very convenient. THE view from the room was amazing. I could even see Mt. Fuji!
The gym was quite underwhelming for a hotel of this standard! I had to pay extra to use the spa gym.

The hotel is near Akasaka-Mitsuke station. Four train lines go through it. The main street downhill has many restaurants both Japanese and western. It's also within walking distance of the Akasaka State Guest House.

a reflective stay at the garden tower
convenient location mountain view good breakfast connecting room
I found the location convenient, a short walk from the station connected to places i wanted to visit. the room had a good view, i could even see a distant mountain! breakfast offered good options too. the room size was decent. My kids had a connecting room so it was very convenient.

The tower has a beautiful adjacent garden, and the breakfast dining room overlooks it. I found it spacious. there are many shops and restaurants in the tower. exploring the garden provided a welcome accompaniment to my buffet breakfast.

the hotel is near a station with four lines that go through it, which i thought was quite convenient. the main street downhill from the tower offered plenty of restaurants. i also found it within walking distance of a state guest house.

The breakfast buffet had a variety of options, which i found successful and tasty. however, there was a system in place for handing over breakfast tickets. On two occasions, staff forgot they had taken my ticket and asked where it was.

mixed feelings about this stay
smoke smell slow check-in
The room smelled slightly of smoke despite our request for a non-smoking room. the bathroom felt outdated with a fabric curtain around the bathtub instead of a proper shower enclosure. it was inconvenient not being able to easily book a taxi to the airport for the next day. also, the check-in process was quite slow. they photocopied passports and questioned if my credit card would work. It felt a little insulting, to be honest.

excellent view good breakfast convenient location ceiling stains outdated rooms slow room changing
I found the location convenient, near the Akasaka-Mitsuke station, IT connected to many places. The room had an EXCELLENT view. I even saw Mt. Fuji. Breakfast options were good.
The ceiling had stains when I checked in, and it looked like it came from the AC unit. Moving rooms took an hour. I had to wait in the original room and could hear housekeeping cleaning the ceiling before moving me.

limited cuisine small selection
I found the breakfast options quite limited. The cuisine did not feel like a five-star experience. There was no omelette station or hot food chef available. Fresh fruit selection was minimal, and the overall choice seemed uninspired.
